Scottsdale Bullion & Coin is preparing to enter an exciting new chapter. After breaking ground in late 2024, the company’s new headquarters is now in the final stages of construction and is expected to welcome clients later this summer.
More than simply expanding into a larger office, the new facility reflects SBC’s long-term commitment to providing an exceptional client experience, expanding investor education, and putting down permanent roots in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In this week’s The Gold Spot, founder Eric Sepanek and Sr. Precious Metals Advisor Steve Rand shared an inside look at the new headquarters, what clients can expect when the doors open, and another exciting project already taking shape inside the building.
A Forever Home for Scottsdale Bullion & Coin
For more than a year, Scottsdale Bullion & Coin has been working toward a vision that extends well beyond a new office. The company’s new 13,300-square-foot headquarters was built from the ground up to support future growth while creating a permanent home where clients can confidently do business for decades to come.
Located just north of SBC’s current office in Scottsdale Airpark, the new facility reflects the company’s belief that Scottsdale isn’t simply where it operates; it’s home.
Rather than outgrowing its community, SBC has chosen to deepen its investment by building a headquarters designed to serve both current and future generations of precious metals investors.

Construction has now reached approximately 83% completion, with the building expected to be finished toward the end of July (2026). As the final details come together, the company looks forward to welcoming clients to the new space later this summer, with additional move-in details to be announced as they become available.
Designed Around the Client Experience
Although the new headquarters offers significantly more space, every aspect of the facility was designed to better serve clients from the moment they walk through the front door.
Unlike a traditional coin shop where customers browse display cases, Scottsdale Bullion & Coin has always centered its business around personalized service and one-on-one consultations. Every investment strategy is unique, and meaningful conversations take time.
The new headquarters was designed with that philosophy in mind. Whether someone is purchasing physical gold or silver for the first time or continuing to build an established portfolio, the new headquarters was designed around that same personalized approach.
Clients will be welcomed into a spacious lobby built for comfort before meeting privately with an advisor. Throughout the office, expansive views of the North Scottsdale mountains provide an inviting backdrop, while a steel-encased safe room is seamlessly integrated into the building’s design.

The Future of The Gold Spot
The new headquarters will also usher in a new era for The Gold Spot, strengthening SBC’s ability to connect with investors through high-quality digital content. A dedicated in-house production studio will provide the team with a purpose-built space to create market updates, informative videos, interviews, and other investor resources.

Tail Gunner Will Honor History While Building Community
The new headquarters will also introduce something entirely new to Scottsdale: Tail Gunner, a one-of-a-kind cigar lounge inspired by history and designed to bring people together.
The Inspiration
Scheduled to open in fall 2026, Tail Gunner goes far beyond a traditional cigar bar. Inspired by Eric Sepanek’s great uncle, Michael L. Arooth, who served as a tail gunner aboard a B-17 Flying Fortress during World War II, the space is intended as a tribute to America’s veterans and the Greatest Generation.

SUGGESTED VIDEOThe Experience
Designed as both a gathering place and gallery, Tail Gunner will feature authentic B-17 artifacts, including an original tail gun from a B-17 Flying Fortress, creating a museum-like experience that celebrates one of the defining generations in American history.
Guests will be able to enjoy premium cigars alongside a full-service whiskey bar, coffee bar, and thoughtfully crafted mocktail menu, creating a welcoming environment with something for everyone.
The Space
The space itself is equally distinctive. A 27-foot airplane hangar door will open the lounge to Scottsdale’s beautiful weather, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor atmosphere. During the warmer months, a state-of-the-art recirculating air filtration system will help maintain one of the cleanest cigar lounge environments in the industry.
Ultimately, Tail Gunner reflects a broader vision of bringing people together over cigars, coffee, history, conversation, and community.
